Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of HixCodeTTSv1 (the "Service"), operated by HixCode. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

Your account

• You must provide accurate information when registering, including a valid email and phone number.
• You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
• One account per person — creating multiple accounts to obtain additional free-tier usage is not permitted.

Voice cloning — consent requirement

Our voice-cloning feature lets you upload an audio sample and generate speech in that voice. By uploading a sample, you confirm that:

• The voice is your own, or you have obtained explicit, informed consent from the person whose voice you are uploading.
• You will not use a cloned voice to impersonate any person without their consent, to create misleading or deceptive content, to harass or defame anyone, or for any unlawful purpose.
• You will not upload a sample of a public figure, celebrity, or any third party for the purpose of generating content that misrepresents them as having said something they did not say.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts found to be using voice cloning in violation of these terms, without refund of any character balance.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to generate content that:

• Is illegal, defamatory, harassing, or infringes on someone else's rights;
• Impersonates a real person without consent (see voice-cloning consent requirement above);
• Attempts to circumvent free-tier usage limits through multiple accounts, automated abuse, or falsified device/network signals;
• Violates any applicable law.

Free tier and character packs

• Free-tier daily limits apply per account and are additionally capped per network/device to prevent abuse.
• Character packs are one-time purchases that do not expire and are not recurring subscriptions.
• Failed generations are not deducted from your character balance or daily free-tier count.
• Character-pack purchases are reviewed and approved manually; balances are credited once approved.

Content ownership

You retain ownership of the text you submit and the audio generated from it, subject to your compliance with these Terms (including the voice-cloning consent requirement). We do not claim ownership over your generated content.

Service availability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability and may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, HixCode is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including any misuse of generated audio by you or any third party you shared it with.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion for violation of these Terms, including the voice-cloning consent requirement or acceptable-use policy above.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
